Nanchang Railway Station Offers Free Mailing of

Work Tools for Returning Migrant Workers

　　To ensure travel safety, work tools such as shovels, electric drills and hammers are prohibited from being carried onboard and may not be taken into the station by passengers. However, many migrant workers need to carry such tools for work purposes.

　　During this year’s Spring Festival travel rush, Nanchang Railway Station, in coordination with the station police office and Nanchang postal authorities, launched a warm and convenient service initiative to mail work tools free of charge for returning migrant workers. The service addresses the practical difficulties faced by workers whose tools are “not allowed onboard, too valuable to discard and too costly to ship.”
