Direct EMU Service Launched from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Capital
At 11:15 on January 26, the first D1082/1079 EMU train from Xining to Beijingbei Railway Station operating via the Baotou-Yinchuan High Speed Railway departed on time, filling the gap in direct EMU transport between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, while also realizing closer transportation connectivity between western Inner Mongolia and Xining.
The smooth launch of the Xining-Beijingbei EMU train service is an important measure by CR-Qingzang to optimize passenger transport layout and improve service quality. It has built a new transportation bridge connecting the plateau with the capital, making travel more convenient for people on the plateau.
