Impressive Start-of-Year Performance of CRE Train Eastern Corridor
Since the beginning of the year, the CRE Train eastern corridor has reported encouraging results. In January, a total of 615 CRE Train services entered and exited through the three major railway ports of Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang under the administration of CR-Harbin, transporting 62,372 TEUs of goods, representing year-on-year increases of 58.1% and 51.4%, respectively.
At present, the CRE Train eastern corridor has expanded to form 27 stable operating routes, reaching 14 countries including Poland, Germany and the Netherlands, and connecting more than 60 domestic cities such as Changsha, Zhengzhou and Chengdu. To effectively enhance corridor efficiency, CR-Harbin has incorporated CRE Train services into a key transportation “green channel” program, giving priority in scheduling train operations. Leveraging the “Digital Port” intelligent system, it has strengthened coordination with customs and border inspection authorities. Through a series of measures, including optimizing broad-gauge train reception procedures and upgrading rolling stock inspection technologies, the customs clearance time at railway ports has been reduced to less than 30 minutes at the shortest, and overall transportation efficiency has increased by nearly 10%, effectively removing bottlenecks in international logistics.
