On January 23, a CRE train loaded with 55 forty-foot containers departed from Erenhot Railway Port, marking that the total number of inbound and outbound CRE trains via Erenhot Railway Port has exceeded 22,000. As the only railway port of entry and exit along the central corridor of the CRE train routes, Erenhot Railway Port saw the annual number of trains handled exceed 3,900 for the first time in 2025, with the volume of goods transported by CRE trains surpassing 5 million tons within the year.
