Jiang Cheng

 

Jiang Cheng serves for the Railway Engineering Research Institute of the China Academy of Railway Sciences Corporation Limited, holding a bachelor's degree and acting as a researcher. He is mainly engaged in theoretical and experimental research in the technical field of ballastless track of railway. He took charge of and completed 1 original scientific research project of 863 Program and 973 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, respectively, and more than 20 scientific research projects of the former Ministry of Railways and China Railway Corporation. He hosted and participated in the preparation of more than 10 technical standards related to railway tracks. He carried out technological research and innovation of ballastless track system of China high speed railways based on the construction of ballastless track test sections such as Qinshen, Ganlong, Suiyu and Wuguang. Mr. Jiang has accomplished many research achievements in the design theory and method of ballastless track, the structure and related interface design of ballastless track, the interaction between ballastless track and bridge, the service state evaluation of ballastless track and maintenance technology, etc. He has made outstanding contributions to the establishment and improvement of ballastless track technology system for high speed railway in China. He has won 1 first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 6 grand prizes, 1 first prize and 2 second prizes of the Scientific and Technological Progress Award by China Railway Society, obtained 4 invention patents and published more than 10 academic papers. He also won the 9th “Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology Achievement Award” in 2009 and Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award in 2016.
