Zhu Jiansheng acts as the Director of Institute of Computing Technology of China Academy of Railway Sciences Corporation Limited. A PHD and research fellow, he is mainly engaged in IT application of railway passenger transport and the development of key technologies of the ticket system. His achievements include the research and development of the ticketing system and 12306.cn, the China Railway Ticketing Website, where he made breakthroughs in many key technologies such as real-name ticket selling and checking and railway e-ticketing, creatively solved technical difficulties such as highly concurrent massive transaction processing, flexible computing architecture and dual-active data center, improved the processing capacity, safety and reliability of the ticketing system, and made important contributions to promoting the innovation and transformation of railway passenger service under China's "Internet+" strategy, significantly improving passenger ticketing experience and improving the quality of railway passenger service. He has led or participated in more than 30 scientific research projects at the national, provincial, ministerial and bureau levels. He has won 2 first-class awards, 7 second-class awards and 4 third-class awards for science and technology at provincial and ministerial levels, 1 special award, 4 first-class awards and 1 second-class award for science and technology at bureau levels, has 4 patents for invention and published more than 10 academic papers.
